Efficient demisting of ambient air
Our demisters comprise vertical louvres made with lamellas specifically designed for the purpose of efficiently removing moisture from ambient air with air flow rates between 2 and 9 m/s.
Demisters are used onboard cruise liners to remove moisture from the air used in the air-conditioning system. The same technology is used to separate water from the air used by the engines. On offshore oil rigs, demisters are used to separate water from the air used in the machinery and the air used to cool the generators.
Our demisters are made of extruded aluminium of stainless or acid-proof steel, depending on your requirements. The demisters are supplied with either a powdered-paint or lacquered finish. Alternatively, you can choose not to have any surface treatment.
