Demisters ensure dry air in air-conditioning systems onboard ships
Demisters are regularly used onboard ships to remove water from the air. Demisters are especially important onboard cruise liners, as the large numbers of passengers need an immense amount of air, and the standards set for air quality are extremely high.
Alupro is one of the few enterprises whose demisters have been tested for quality by independent parties. Alupro's demisters have been tested by the Technical Research Centre of Finland and conform to the requirements of the EN13030:2001 standard.
Alupro has also developed classy screening louvres for hiding demisters onboard ships. These stylish horizontal louvres are used for architectural reasons – to screen demisters on the sides of ships.
